The Croatian National Theatre in Varaždin brings Drvene ptice, Lidija Deduš's award-winning dramatic debut, to Rijeka. Directed by Ivan Plazibat, the crime-story drama is inspired by a real 1980s small-town case and explores alcoholism, patriarchy and the limited choices of young women.
